フィデリオはマルコ・クーンズによって、1986年にチューリッヒの郊外に当初は地元スイス人デザイナーたちのアウトレットとしてオープンした。ビジネスが成長するにつれて、規模拡大の必要性を伴い、ポール・スミスやヘルムート・ラング、ヴィヴィアン・ウエストウッド、マルタン・マルジェラやイサベル・マラント等を公式に買い付ける様になった。
フィデリオはルース・グルナインガーによってデザインされる自身のインラインレーベルも展開している。スカート、パンツ、ニット類等、幅広いアイテム群は驚く程に鮮やかなカラーから、上品なブラックまで多様なスタイルが揃う。
2000年には、スペースの拡張に伴い，周辺にはクールで上品なショップが店を構えるマンズプラッツの中心街へ移転した。 その３年後も業績は伸び続け、J・リンドバーグ、シー・バイ・クロエ、MSGM、ヘンリック・ヴィブズコフ等、フィデリオに比較して少しリーズナブルなブランドを中心に扱うフィデリオ２をオープンさせた。 その５年後には、フィデリオ３をオープン。取り扱いは、ポール・スミス ウィメン、S.N.Sハーニング、ハンンス・ルザー等。現在はオンライン・ショップを構築中とのことだ。
フィデリオは15年もの歳月、そして今もチューリッヒのファッションシーンを支えている。街を訪ねた際は是非お見逃しの無いように。

Translation: Andry Adolphe is assured. Fidelio is the Paradise of fashion. Here you can find many of the best brands for men and women.
Fidelio was born 1986 in a outside area of Zürich. The label was created by Marco Kunz. At the beginning, Fidelio specialized in old season clothes from Swiss designers. As soon as the Project started to growth, he realized he hadn’t enough clothes. So he began to buy official clothes from designers like Paul Smith, Helmut Lang, Vivienne Westwood, Martin Margiela. Isabel Marant and many others.
Fidelio has its own label designed by Ruth Grüninger. It includes all kind of clothes: shirts, pants, knitwear, with a very special sense of style that mixes shocking colors and elegant blacks.
In the year 2000 the shop was getting too small so they decided to move to the city (Münzplatz 1) , in an area where they would be surrounded by cool high end brands. The success continued and 3 years later, they opened Fidelio 2 carrying on a concept with brands a little less expensive than the ones in Fidelio 1: J. Lindeberg, See by Chloé, MSGM, Henrik Vibskov and a lot more.
5 years later, Fidelio 3 was born, with a concept (Pup op Store) with brands such as Paul Smith women, S.N.S. Herning, Hannes Roether etc. At the moment they are developing an internet shop.
Fidelio has 15 succesful years in the market, and they keep on doing the best regarding fashion in Zurich. Dont hesitate in take a look to the marvellous selection they offer.
