Yokohama Creativecity Center (YCC) promotes the culture and art of Yokohama city from a beautiful building with a wellhole style balcony with lined by Tuscan columns, the Yokohama branch of first bankトスカーナ式オーダーの円柱を並べた吹き抜けのバルコニーが美しい建物、旧第一銀行横浜支店。ヨコハマ創造都市センター（YCC）は、この建物で横浜市の文化芸術によるまちづくりのプロモーションを行っている。
文化、アート、経済振興を融合させた横浜市の街づくり「クリエイティブシティ・ヨコハマ」の推進拠点として、YCCは様々なプロジェクトやイベントを開催している。講師らとともに一つのテーマで横浜を散策する「横浜ローカルツアー」や、都市とクリエイティブの関係についての理解促進を目指す「YCC学校」などは誰でも参加でき、人々の新しい交流のきっかけとなっている。
また横浜でのアート活動に関する相談をいつでも受け付けている。活動拠点や会場、人材について困ったことがあればいつでも相談できるので、ぜひ活用してほしい。また芸術不動産と題してアーティストやクリエイター向け物件の紹介も積極的に行っている。これはアーティストにとって心強いサポートだ。
落ち着いた雰囲気のカフェとショップは誰でも気軽に立ち寄れる。カフェ「80＊80」（ハチマルハチマル）では80%以上、80km圏内の食材でつくられた日替わりのお弁当などヘルシーなカフェご飯が楽しめる。ショップ「YCCショップ 港ポーポ」は、ユトレヒトによるディレクションで、アート本やアーティストが関わったグッズを販売している。また入ってすぐの場所にインフォメーションデスクがあり、最新の横浜エリアのアート情報がチェックできる。

As a promoting hub of “Creative City Yokohama,” YCC holds various projects and events to promote the prosperity of the city’s Culture, Art, Economic growth. Activities offered provide new opportunities for cultural exchange. The “Yokohama local tour,” a theme-based stroll through the city led by a lecturer, as well as the “YCC school,” are open to anyone.
YCC also accepts consultations about art activities in Yokohama at any time. It is a useful resource for people in the creative world that want consultation regarding such things as personnel difficulties, venues, or developing active bases.YCC is actively introducing spaces for artists and creators by acting as a center of support.
A calm café and a shop provides an easy atmosphere to pop into. The unique concept café called “80*80” serves healthy daily foods where at least 80% of their ingredients are sourced withing 80 Km of YCC. The shop called “ YCC shop port porpo” directed by UTRECHT sells art books and goods involved artists. There is also an information desk after the entrance where you can check out the latest art information in Yokohama area.
