Every city has its hectic area where lots of citizens converge with tourists, the average shopping zone, hoboes and the itinerant ones. Perhaps due to this messy environment a less beautiful sideどこの都市にだって、一般的なショッピングエリアがあり、各地を廻る商人たちがいるような、市民と観光客がたくさん集まる常ににぎやかなエリアがあるだろう。もしかしたら、こうしたたくさんのものの混在が、都市の美しい一面を隠しがちなのかもしれない。しかし、ストックホルムは、たとえそうしたエリアでも「カルチュールフーセット」のような素敵な建築に出会うことができる。
カルチューフーセットは都会の景色を素晴らしく飾っているだけでなく、ストックホルム市民に魅力的な機会をもたらしている。「カルチャーハウス」を意味するこの建物は、すべての人に開かれた憩いの場。リラックスタイムに訪れたり、読書やお茶、現代音楽やアートエキシビジョンを楽しむ場として、また、子供向けの様々な施設や、ワークショップ、シアターなども備え、まさにストックホルム市民へのギフトととも言えるだろう。
秋や冬のほとんど気温が10℃を越さないような期間をここで過ごすのは特にいい。数えきれないアクティビティと一緒にホットコーヒーを楽しむというのは最高の組み合わせだ。さらに、春と夏には最上階のテラスがオープンし、ストックホルムの太陽の下で音楽と冷えたビールと料理が楽しめる。
ここでの文化的なアクティビティには終わりがない。基本的にストックホルムを代表するアート施設の全てがこの施設のプログラムに参加している。ジャンルは写真から環境問題、舞台芸術、パーティー、セミナーやワークショップまで様々。特別なイベントの開催地としても利用されることもあり。普通なら入場料がかかりそうなものだが、国からの援助も受けているので入場料は無料となっている。
現在１階ではストックホルムの市全体の模型を観ることができる。完璧なストックホルムの概観とともに、市に関する様々な情報を掲載するモニターも設置されている。
マーティン・パーからブロンド・レッドヘッドまで、世界的に有名なアーティストがここでエキシビジョンやライブを行っている。 今後も現在活躍中のたくさんのアーティストがここでパフォーマンスするだろう。
「カフェ・パノラマ」と呼ばれる最上階のレストランでは、大きな窓から素晴らしい景色を眺めることができる。あなたが空想的なものを求めているのではないなら、これは最高の選択だろう。サラダとコーヒーのフリービュッフェ付きのメインコースはだいたい70〜90セック。

Against to all that in such area of Stockholm you can find the amazing building of Kulturhuset which offers not just an striking urban landscape but also a fascinating opportunity to the city.
It´s “The Cultural House”, a meeting point open to everyone that invites you for relaxing time, reading, coffee, live music, art exhibitions, children activities, courses, theater, etc. Kulturhuset is a gift to the city citizens.
Kulturhuset´s labor is most welcome since temperature during autumn and winter hardly exceeds 10° C. So a free space plenty of activities, and hot coffee matches really good.
In addition a terrace over the top floor is open during spring and summer so you can also enjoy music, a fresh beer and food under the Stockholm´s sun.
Cultural activities in there is a nonstop. Basically all artistic platforms have capacity into its programme. From photography to environmental issues, dramatic arts, parties, seminars or workshops. Sometimes it works as venue hosting some special event which means counting with the state´s support so admission has usually quite average prices but is for free.
On the ground floor currently you can find a model of the city. A perfect overview of Stockholm joined by several monitors with different information about the city.
From Martin Parr to Blonde Redhead, recognized international artists has been embraced and held dear. Up & coming artists has also opportunity to show there but as a usual statement protocol perhaps the waiting cue goes for longer that you wish.
The restaurant on the top floor is called Cafe Panorama due the great view through the big windows. It´s a great choice if you are not up for fancy stuff. A main course with free buffet of salad and coffee is around 70-90 SEK.
The Central station is just right next and many bus lines stop in front the main gate.
