It´s an icon in the city. Berns is a hotel, a restaurant and main contributor of entertainment in Stockholm since 1886. From Frank Sinatra, Marlene Dietrich and Louis Armstrongストックホルムのアイコンとも言える、このバーンズはホテルであり、レストランであり、また1886年よりストックホルムのエンターテイメントシーンに大きく貢献してきた。フランク・シナトラから、マレーネ・ディートリッヒ、ルイ・アームストロング、最近では、ボン・アイバー、ボブ・ディラン、ニューヨーク・ドールズ、ウータン・クラン、カット・コピーなどのアーティストがこの素晴らしいステージでライブを行ってきた。建物はいくつか部分的な改装を行って以来、当時の建築をそのままに残している。スウェーデン語では「バンチ」と言う。
ストックホルムの商業地区にある、ベルツェリー公園のすぐそばにあり、「グランドストア・エヌケー」としても知られる、「ノルディスカ・カンパニーエット」へは徒歩で２、３分ほど。ビブリオテークス通り、ビリエル・ヤール通りという、ファッションで有名な２つのショッピングストリートにも面している。このホテルでの時間は他にはない特別な体験だ。バーンズは街でもトップクラスの宿泊施設で、その82に及ぶ客室は本当に魅力的だ。クロック・スイートはバーンズの正面にある大きな時計の裏にある。ストックホルムを訪れるたくさんの有名人がここへ宿泊する。（かつてストックホルムで、口論の後にガードマンの手首に噛み付いて話題になった、アクセル・ローズは別だが）
地下にクラブも完備する、バーンズ・サロンガーではいつでも素晴らしいショーを予定している。その１つでもある「2.35:1」というイベントはストックホルムで人気のイベントとなっている。
バーンズはまた、注目のデザイナーやブランドの多くが毎期参加することで有名なバーンズ・ファッション・ウィークを主催し、バーンズの他、ストックホルムの様々な会場でイベントを開催している。

The building has kept the original architecture which have been renovated at different points since then. The Swedish way to be pronounce its name is “Banch”.
Located by the Berzelii Park, in the commercial district of the city. A few minutes walk to the grand store NK (Nordiska Kompaniet) and towards two of the most important streets for fashion, Biblioteksgatan and Birger Jarlsgatan. The hotel is an exceptional and destinguished experience, it´s a top accommodation in town and its 82 rooms are very solicited. The Clock Suite lays behind the big clock of the facade. Many of the celebrities who visit the city is to be hosted here (unless you are Axl Rose, who last visiting was in a brawl with one of the security guards whom was bitten on the wrist by the Hollywood front-man that ended up paying a fine for that).
Berns Salonger offers a steady program including the club in the basement. One of those nights is called 2.35:1, where you find the hottest dancefloor in the city.
Berns is organizing Fashion Week by Berns which is the most international fashion week in Sweden, with several runway shows both at Berns and at other locations around Stockholm.
