One of the most international brands Stockholm-based is Acne. Actually the beginning of the brand is a creative collective established in 1996, within the field of advertisement and graphic designアクネは、ストックホルムをベースとした最も国際的なブランドの一つだ。1996年に立ち上げられ、広告、グラフィックデザイン、デジタル・プロダクション、TVプロダクションの分野を専門としたクリエイティブ集団がその基礎となっている。
ファッションブランドとしてのアクネは、およそ100本の赤耳ジーンズをプレゼントに展開した大胆な販促キャンペーンを伴い、1997年にスタート。最初のコレクションの量産から一年後には、数多くのショップやブティックにブランドの取り扱いを希望されるほどの成功を収めた。
現在では150人以上のスタッフを抱え、フィルム・プロダクション部門、デザイン部門、それに加えて隔年で発行されるアクネ・ペーパーの制作部門の運営も行っている。すべての部門はそれぞれ独立したかたちで活動をしているものの、互いに同じ文化とビジョンを共有している。
アクネのデザイン哲学は、着る人のスタイルやパーソナリティーを強くサポートし、向上させるデザインを備えた洋服づくりであり、そのデザインプロセスは、ブランドの創立者であり、クリエイティブディレクターでもあるジョニー・ヨハンソンの指揮下で現在も行われている。
アクネ・スタジオ（アクネのショップ）はストックホルム、ヨーテボリ、コペンハーゲン、オスロ、ハンブルグ、ウィーン、パリ、ニューヨーク、ベルゲン、スタヴァンゲル、シドニー、そしてアムステルダムで展開中だ。
アクネ・スタジオ本店は、ビブリオテークスガータンの真隣、ストックホルム中心部のノルマルムストリに位置している。メジャーなブランド店が軒を連ねるこの場所は商業の中心といっても差し支えないだろう。アクネ・スタジオ２号店は、トレンドの先端を行くエリアとして有名な、ストックホルム南部の島、ソーデルにオープンした。

Translation: Kazuyuki Yoshimura and some digital and TV production. Acne as a fashion brand started in 1997 with an action marketing campaign with a gift of about 100 jeans with red stitching.
The success was such that several stores and boutiques wanted to carry the brand. In just one year after their turned into a major production with their first collection. Nowadays the brand has employed more than hundred and fifty people and Acne has a department for film production, design and own magazine, Acne paper which is bi-annual. All are independent entities, however they all share same culture and vision.
Acne Studio is the name of each store and have opened so far in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Oslo, Hamburg, Vienna, Paris, New York, Bergen, Stavanger, Sydney and Amsterdam.
The design philosophy of Acne is to make clothes that are designed to enhance and strengthen the style and personality of the wearer. The design process is still directed by founder and creative director Jonny Johansson.
You can find Acne Studio flagstore in the central part of Stockholm in Norrmalmstorg. Righ next to Biblioteksgatan. It´s pretty much the commercial district in town, an exclusive block where all the stores with major brands are located. A second Acne Studio was open in the trendy area of Söder, the southern island of Stockholm.
