Vasastan is a distinguished area in Stockholm with many recognizable art and fashion spots. Showrooms, art galleries, photography studios, fashion stores, record stores, etc. It´s a perfect combinationストックホルムの中心部、ヴァサスタン地区は、ストックホルムでも最先端のスポットとして知られている。お洒落なファッションストア、アートギャラリー、レストランなどが立ち並び、トレンドと高級感の両方を楽しめる。そんな地区に2008年8月にオープンした、デザインギャラリーが新たな名所となっている。
ここでは、デザインに興味のある人達へ向け、ファッション、インテリア、グラフィック、手工業品など、スウェーデン国内の若手のデザイナーのエキシビジョンを開催している。2009年のストックホルム家具フェアでは、世界的に活躍するデザインチーム、クラーソン・コイヴィスト・ルーネをフィーチャーした。
デザインギャラリーは、スウェーデン、ストックホルムの最新デザインを見るには最適な場所だ。店舗設計は、フォーム・アス・ウィズ・ラブが手掛けている。

In a capital that makes efforts to get an excelent cultural offer, Designgalleriet in Stockholm has received a flying start and has attracted a large, design interested audience to their first exhibitions. Since the start August 2008 the visitor has seen and experience fashion, interior design, graphic form and art handicrafts.
Designgalleriet shows exhibitions with young, independent designers as well as exhibitions with established design companies – the young design in Sweden is as important as the established.
Designgalleriet are proud to reveal that internationally known designer group Claesson Koivisto Rune has chosen Designgalleriet as their stage for their new collection during Stockholm Furniture Fair 2009.
The support from the design industry has been important to secure the prosperity for Designgalleriet. Internationally known Philips has invested in Designgalleriet with the latest technique with lights to guarantee an international experience to the visitor.
With Designgalleriet Stockholm has received a new arena for exciting design with Swedish and international design exhibitions for Stockholm and its visitors.
The multidisciplinar studio Form Us With Love is resposible for the interior design.
