Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway was featured on the Michelin Green Guide Japan 2009 as a one-star. From the ropeway you can enjoy panoramic view of the Otaru cityscape, Port of Otaru and Ishikari Gulfミシュラン・グリーンガイド・ジャポン2009で一つ星として掲載された、小樽天狗山ロープウエイ。ロープウエイからは、眼下に箱庭のように市街が開け、小樽港や石狩湾、晴れた日は遠く署寒別連峰や積丹半島が一望できる。
天狗山は、函館山、藻岩山と並ぶ北海道三大夜景として知られている、小樽のシンボル的存在。山と港、市街地の明暗のコントラストによって、一つ星に相応しい美しい夜景を楽しむことができる。
2010年にリニューアルした山頂展望レストランには、窓際に約25ｍのバーカウンターが設置され、小樽一の絶景パノラマとともに食事やドリンクを楽しめるデートスポットとして人気になっている。
小樽天狗山は、道内有数のスキー場のひとつ。冬はスキー場がオープンするほか、スキー以外にもスキーシューやスノーシュー（洋風かんじき）でのトレッキングなど、冬のアクティビティも充実している。道具はレンタルできるので気軽に楽しめる。

As one of the landmark of Otaru, Tenguyama is known as one of the 3 night views including Hakodateyama and Moiwayama. You can enjoy one-star beautiful night view of the light and dark contrast of mountains, port and city.
Re-designed in 2010, an observatory restaurant equipped with 25-meter long bar counter by the window, which became a popular spot for couples to enjoy the spectacular view of Otaru with meals and drinks.
Otarutenguyama is also known as one of the best ski site in Hokkaido. In winter the ski site opens for not only skiing, but also other winter activities such as trekking with skishoes and snowshoes. Rental ski gears are available.
