滝野すずらん丘陵公園Takino Suzuran Hillside National Park

Takino Suzuran Hillside National park is a only national park in Hokkaido. With its vast site that has 400 hectare, the park has been loved by many people since its open in 1983滝野すずらん丘陵公園は、北海道の広大な400ヘクタールの敷地を利用した札幌市南区にある道内唯一の国営公園。1983年に開園し、多くの市民に長く愛されている。
敷地内にはオートキャンプ場の「オートリゾート滝野」、400名宿泊できる施設「青少年山の家」、子供も大人も楽しめる遊具のある「こどもの谷」、自然を利用したアスレチック「森のすみか」に「滝野の森」など、様々なニーズに対応したエリアがある。
中でもユニークな遊具が多い「こどもの谷」は近年増えた観て遊んで楽しむこともできる空間。シンボルタワーとなっている「あり塚の塔」には、地上18メートルの塔を登りながらありを探し、頂上から滑り台で降りるというワクワクの仕組み。「虹の巣ドーム」（写真）には虹色のネットが張り巡らされ、そこで跳ねて遊ぶ子供達の姿がインスタレーションの作品かと思うほど、視覚的、感覚的にもおもしろい。「うねりの大地」は大地から突き出た赤いツノを突っついたり抱きついたりできる不思議な光景をみせる。他にも迷路、滑り台、巨大クッションなど他にも様々なアトラクションがあり、大人も童心に返ったように冒険気分を味わえる。
今紹介したものは「滝野すずらん丘陵公園」にある遊具や施設のほんの一部。2011年までには400ヘクタール全て解放することとなっており、まだまだ成長をみせてくれる。キャンプをしながらでも、休日に家族で遊びに行くにも、ユニークな遊具を見に行くにも、自由に自分のスタイルで楽しむことができるおすすめの公園だ。
敷地内には「日本の滝百選」にも選ばれたアシリベツの滝をはじめ、見応えのある滝もいくつかある。札幌の中心部から車で40分と遠くないので、現代の自然と離れた環境から自然の中で童心に返って楽しんでみてはどうだろう。

There are various facilities in the park: Auto Resort Takino is for camping, Youth Mountain House where accommodates 400 guests, Children’s Valley with unique outdoor playground equipments, nature athletics in Forest House and Takino Forest among others.
Especially, the Children’s Valley is a fun multi-purpose area for kids. The symbol is Tower of Anthill. It has 18m hight and people can go up this tower looking for ants and slide down from the top. In Rainbow Nest Dome (photo), there are many net-made play equipments in the dome where many kids jump on it. Wave the Field makes strange view; there are red horn-shaped objects sticking out of the field and you can crimb it and hug it. Other attractions include maze, slide, huge cushion and more.
Mentioned here above is just a part of this park. They are going to open all 400 hectare until 2011. This park is great place for camping, visiting with family in a holiday, or just sightseeing. It takes 40 minutes from the center of Sapporo. How about be free from urban city life and play like a kid in the nature?
