2007年12月、北海道で作られたこだわりのチーズを扱う専門店「Cheese Please Hokkaido」が札幌市地下街ポールタウン内にオープンしたCheese Please Hokkaido, a special shop which whole selected cheese in the shop are made in Hokkaido, opened in underground mall, Pole Town in Sapporo on December 14th in 2007。明るく、かわいらしい店内には、手間と時間を惜しまずにつくられたチーズが約100種類並び、店の奥に入るとあまり見る事が出来ないホールで作られたチーズが並んでいる。
モッツァレラやカマンベール、クリームチーズなど代表的なチーズをはじめ、オリーブオイルに漬けたヤギのチーズなどが取り揃えてあり、その場で好きな量に（100g400円〜）カットしてくれるので、いろいろな種類のチーズが食べれて、好みのチーズを選べる。
またチーズ以外にも北海道の酪農家直営工房で作られる牛乳や乳製品も販売。
商品はすべて手作りのため数量に限りがあり、時期によって入れ替わる。
チーズに詳しくない方でも、生産者の元を回って知識を深めた店長をはじめ、スタッフが優しくアドバイスしてくれる。
また地方発送もしてくれるので道外の方への贈り物としても最適だ。

Text and photo: Kazumi Oiwa. You will endeavor about 100 kinds of cheese in the bright cute shop, which are made very carefully and deliberately, you will also find whole cheese which can be seen rarely in Japan.
Standard cheese like Mozzarella, Camembert, Cream cheese are in stock always, also you can choose from various cheese like olive oiled Feta cheese. Ask them how much you want, they will cut for you. ( can be ordered from 100g/400yen)
Milk and dairy products which are made by cattle farmers in a direct factory are also sold here.
Products are limited in number as they are all handmade, and the kind of cheese changes by season.
Don’t hesitate to ask questions if you don’t know much about cheese. Kind staffs and the store manager who has developed his knowledge with producers.
Good for a gift as they also deliver to outside of Hokkaido.
