Miyakoshiya Coffee is a place you can enjoy qualified coffee mainly in Sapporo with many branches. Among these branch shops, there is only cafe-bar style place called “Hallstairs Espresso Bar”上質な珈琲を気軽に楽しめる場所として、札幌を中心に多くの店舗を展開している「宮越屋珈琲」。その系列店の中で唯一カフェバーというスタイルを取る「ホールステアズ・エスプレッソバー」は、駅前通りに面する入口から地下へと降りた場所にある、隠れ家のような雰囲気のお店だ。
客席がメゾネット形式になっているため天井が高く、開放感のある店内。全体的に暗めの照明や、天井近くの特大スピーカーから流れるジャズを中心とする音楽が、非日常的でありながらも居心地の良い空間を作り出している。
ドリンクメニューは、コーヒーからアルコール類まで充実しており、営業時間も11時から深夜3時までと幅広いため、様々なシーンで利用できるのも魅力的だ。
中央ホールの奥にはステージが設置されており、ジャズ、フュージョンを中心に月に数回、不定期でライブイベントが開催されている。ステージと客席との距離が近く音響設備も充実しているため、美味しいドリンクを片手に、迫力ある音楽を最高の音質で楽しむことができる。
また、音楽ライブ以外にも様々なイベントの実績があり、今後もジャンルを問わず開催していく予定。スケジュールは店頭やホームページでチェックできるので、気になるライブやイベントがあれば是非足を運んでいただきたい。

The Espresso bar is in an open space with a mezzanine floor with a high ceiling. With dark lighting, the overall interior makes comfortable yet unusual space along with jazz music hear from the gigantic speakers installed up near the ceiling.
Back of the central hall, there is a stage where they hold live events of jazz and fusion few times a month irregularly. With audio equipment, you can enjoy powerful live music sitting near the stage with tasty drinks.
Besides music live performances, they will feature various events throughout the year. You can check the live schedule at the store as well as online (in Japanese only.)
They have a wide range of drink menus from coffee to alcohols, and opens from 11 am till early in the morning at 3 am. Hallstairs Espresso Bar will provide you space and time to enjoy coffee, music, atmosphere and good blend of these together.
