TAL stands for Tech Art Lab, a culture company that presents cutting edge Brazilian and international contemporary art, which holds exhibitions and cultural events. It is a gallery, cultural platform and residency program that represents artists, creates and presents exhibitions and artistic productions.TALは、2010年にアーティストのガブリエラ・マシェルによって設立された文化団体。最新のブラジルや国際的な現代アートを展覧会やイベントで紹介している。所有する施設には展示スペースだけでなく、滞在や制作を行えるスペースを持ち、アーティストのプラットフォームとして機能している。
TALは、リオ・デ・ジャネイロの港地区にある工場跡地にある、1930年代にチョコレートやキャンディを生産していた工場だった場所をリノベーションし2016年にリ・オープンした。工場特有の無骨な内観を活かした内装がアーティストのインスピレーションを刺激している。

http://www.tal.art.brTAL is located since 2010, in Rio de Janeiro’s harbour district, occupying part of the 20,000 square meters German iron and steel construction the was built in the 1930’s for a chocolate and candy factory. Impressive in its industrial innards, the aspects of a once powerful and afterwards ruined factory, now remains, partly renovated, providing a unique type of inspiration.
TAL held numerous exhibitions and cultural events since it’s foundation and in 2016, after a major renovation, reopens its space with solo and group shows and cultural events.
