In January 2010, the Surface to Air opened its newest flagship store in the Marais district in Paris, as the foundation of Surface to Air’s international retail development fashion2010年1月にパリのマレ地区に新しくフラッグシップストアをオープンした「サーフェイス・トゥ・エアー」。コンテンポラリーなファッション、コミュニケーション、映像を手掛けるユニークなグループとして知られるサーフェイス・トゥ・エアーは、2000年パリに登場。ファッション、グラフィック、写真、音楽、映像などの様々なクリエイティブな分野を横断する多方面で活躍する会社へと成長し、ツモリチサト、ルイ・ヴィトン、ラブレスなど数多くのブランドの作品を手掛けている。
2002年パリに初のショップをオープンしたサーフェイス・トゥ・エアーは、アクネ、ラフ・シモンズ、ダーク・シャドウ、ニコラ・アンドレア・タラリスなど幅広いブランドを取り扱い、2007年に新しいロケーションへと移動し、サーフェイス・トゥ・エアー初のメンズとレディースのコレクションを発表した。現代風にアレンジしたクラシックでテクニカルな服のコレクションに加え、数多くのコラボレーションも行い、現在パリとサンパウロにショップを構え、まもなくコペンハーゲンにも店舗をオープンする他、世界中の106あるショップにて取扱いがある。
パリのフラッグシップストアは、サーフェイス・トゥ・エアーのクリエイティブチームと建築家、フェデリコ・マソットによるコラボレーションによるデザインで、インテリアスペースには、ピカピカのコンクリート、マルキナ大理石、移動式パネル、騙し絵を施した床などをフィーチャーしている。
ブレスを迎えて初の「ショップインショップ」をシリーズで展開する他、ケネス・カペッロによる「アシッド・ドロップ」展を初のストアエキシビションとして開催する、刺激的で、新進気鋭なアーティストによる作品を展示するギャラリースペースもある。

Known as a unique group operating in contemporary, communication and film, Surface to Air was born first in Paris in 2000, which was then grown as a multidisciplinary company spanning across creative fields such as fashion, graphics, photography, design, music, films and so on, for works for brands including Tsumori Chisato, Louis Vuitton, Loveless, and many more.
Opened its first store in Paris in 2002, the Surface to Air store has carried a wide variety of selections of brands such as Acne, RAF, Dark Shadow, Nicolas Andreas Taralis. After they moved to a new location in 2007, they started to sell their first complete men’s and women’s collections, which offer a modern interpretation of classic and technical garments. In addition to the collection, they develop surprising collaborations with people from various fields. The collection is distributed in their own stores in Paris, Sao Paulo and soon Copenhagen as well as more than 106 stores around the globe.
The new store was designed by the Surface to Air creative team in collaboration with the architect Federico Masotto, featuring sparkling concrete, marquina marble, moving panels and trompe l’oeil floorings. In addition to the launch of first in a series of ‘shop-in-shops’ with Bless, they will host a gallery space where will showcase works of inspiring, forward thinking and up-and-coming artists such as Kenneth Cappello, whose exhibit “Acid Drop” kicked off as the first store exhibition.
