汽車道Kishamichi

The Kishamichi Promenade is a boardwalk located near the Nippon Maru Memorial Park and can be accessed via the Sakuragicho Station. As its name suggests – ‘kisha’ meaning ‘train’ – railway tracks line the boardwalk桜木町駅から日本丸メモリアルパークに行き着くと、その脇から延びている遊歩道「汽車道」。路面にはその名が示すように、かつて新港埠頭へ物資を輸送するために使われた臨港鉄道の遺構である、趣き深いレール跡が残っている

Yubari is a city in Hokkaido once flourished in coral mines. Only opened for the limited upper class in the prime time, Yubari Rokumaikan is reopened with a completion of auberge “Yuzanso” in the spring of 2010かつて炭鉱で栄えた町、夕張。その全盛期にごく限られた上流階級のみが利用できた「夕張鹿鳴館（旧北炭鹿の谷倶楽部）」にオーベルジュ「夕山荘」が完成し2010年春に生まれ変わった

A craftwork and industry designer duo “501DESIGNSTUDIO” was established by Souichi Takenaka who used to assist a contemporary artist and Hiroi Igarashi who works at a design office工芸と工業をテーマに活動している、工芸家とデザイナーのユニット「501デザインスタジオ」。現代美術家のアシスタントをしていた竹中壮一と、デザイン事務所に勤める五十嵐広威が、2008年に偶然再会したことがユニット結成のきっかけ
