大阪府立現代美術センターOsaka Contemporary Art Center
大阪府立現代美術センターは、より多くの方々に現代美術に親しみ、理解を深めていただくことを目的として、1980年4月1日に大阪市北区中之島に開設されました。The Osaka Contemporary Art Center was opened in Nakanoshima (Kita-ku, Osaka) on April 1, 1980 with the aim of providing a greater number of people with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with and develop a deeper understanding of contemporary art. In January 2000, the center relocated to its current location (Chuo-ku, Osaka) where it continues to help people integrate art into their daily lives through the staging of a variety of exhibitions, workshops, and other art-related events.

2000年1月に現在地（中央区）に移転してからは、最寄りの「谷町４丁目」駅との連絡通路内広場での大阪府所蔵作品展示や、周辺の画廊マップの作成など、日常生活の中で気軽に美術に触れていただくことを目指した活動を行っています。
