Osaka Monorail Museum consists of works by modern sculptors from overseas as well as domestic. Artists such as Antonin Stiburek, Hernan Puerma, Hirokazu Moriguchi, and Kyubei Kiyomizu大阪モノレール美術館は、現代美術を広く一般の人々に鑑賞してもらうべく、大阪モノレール16駅舎内に、清水九兵衛、森口宏一、エルナン・プエルマ、アントニーン・スティーブレックといった国内外の現代彫刻家の作品を展示している。
作品の選定は、大阪トリエンナーレの入賞作品や関西の現代作家の作品など、大阪府がこれまで収集してきた美術作品「大阪府現代美術コレクション」の中から公共空間での展示にふさわしい彫刻作品を選んでおり、日頃モノレールを利用する一般の人々の日常に和みや癒しを自然と与えるような作品が目立つ。
通勤、通学のつかの間の休息としてや、作品を巡るモノレールの旅など、各自の感性で世界の美術家たちの作品に触れてみてほしい。

The works were selected from the Osaka modern art collection by the Osaka Prefectural Government as appropriate sculptures to display in public spaces, so there are a lot of works with touches of relaxation and calmfor daily monorail passengers.
