Step into their showroom opened in late 2010 and you’ll find beautifully handcrafted furniture and lighting made by husband-wife team Pierre & Charlotte. Perhaps it’s the delightful pairing of this transatlantic duoピエールとシャーロットが2010年にオープンしたショールームに入っていくと、そこには夫妻が作った素敵な家具や照明が並んでいる。きっと大西洋横断的な二人だからこそ生まれる作品である。フランス生まれのピエールとオーストラリア生まれのシャーロットがデザインすることでより力強いものが生まれ、新しい美的感覚をもたらした。
二人は自然に各々の文化的背景を取り込み、互いのデザインに影響を与えるようになった。さらに、個人向けデザインや実用デザインを行う地元のアーティストたちとコラボレーションし、それぞれのデザインを突き詰めることで、将来その作品を所有する人たちに敬意を表しているのだ。
エコの意識が高まっている消費市場において、二人の作品も長期的に維持可能な素材で作られ、毎日使用してもその先何世代にもわたって耐え得るデザインになっている。
このショールームを訪ねると、ほのかに漂う木やオイルの香りとともに、素晴らしい家具が出迎えてくれる。そしてきっと、手ぶらでショールームを出ることはできないはずだ。

The pair naturally incorporate their own heritage and influences into each design. In addition, they collaborate with an accompanying team of local artists creating personal and practical designs, ensuring each piece is perfectly complimenting to its potential future owner.
In a environmentally-conscious consumer world, the creations are made from sustainable materials and designed to withstand daily harsh elements to become everlasting pieces for generations to come.
Visiting the showroom there is a welcoming light scent of timber parfum and natural oils that fill the air, accompanied by equally visually welcoming furniture. An ultimate delight, where you’ll find it hard to leave empty handed!
