遅く起きた日曜日に散歩がてらに出かけたい。そんな気持ちにさせられるアートスペース「176」が、2007年９月、北ロンドンのチョークファームにオープンした。On a sunny Sunday, which never really happens in London, you may feel like visiting this lovely gallery. “176” opened last September at Chalk Farm north London. “176” is managed by The Zabludowicz Art Trust which is also had a exhibitions at BALTIC last year.

バターシー・パワーステーションBattersea Power Station
クラッパムジャンクションへ向かう電車に乗ると、嫌が応にも目に飛び込んでくるのが巨大なバターシー発電所の姿、そしてそこにそびえる４本の白い煙突。ピンクフロイド、1977年のアルバム「アニマルズ」のジャケットでも知られるこの発電所は、Just after passing Clapham Junction on the train, you can’t help but notice the tall white chimneys and huge brick building. This is the Battersea Power Station which the most famous for Pink Floyd 1977’s album “ANIMALS”.

Even the Sunday street market has encroached onto Cheshire Street so why not the art galleries as well? Easter shopping on Brick Lane then, so off we go.
