OONAは2004年に、ヴァイダ・ウルヴィダイネとクリスティン・べールドの二人が創設した。
クリスティン・ベールドはアメリカのニュージャージー州に生まれで、ニューヨーク・イサカのコーネル大学卒業。そしてヴァイダ・ウルヴィダイネはリトアニアのヨナヴァ出身で、リトアニアのヴィタウタス・マグヌス大学卒業である。二人とも小売業者としての経験があり、そしてShellに在職している期間中に、二人は出会ったのだった。

The website is made up of three departments – the Interior Store, the Art Gallery and Gift Services.
The Interior Store – ONA collaborates with a range of talented Lithuanian designers and manufacturers to form a complete assortment of functional and innovative items for the home. The Interior Store carries tableware, vases, pillows, blankets, table linens, towels, kitchenware, rugs, furniture and accessories.
The Art Gallery – ONA.COM is the largest on-line art dealer in Lithuania. The Art Gallery features an array of acclaimed artists from various fields. The result is an extensive collection of paintings, sculpture, ceramics, relief, intaglio and surface prints, stained glass, jewelry and textile art – finally available for art lovers around the world.
Gift Services – ona has a huge selection of gifts for various occasions, and offers a full range of gift services, including gift-wrapping, wish lists, and gift certificates. Many items are available with engraved or embroidered monograms. Customers are also able to commission personalized works of art – from portraits to stained glass or ceramic plaques with personal inscriptions.
ONA was established in 2004 by Kristin Baird and Vaida Ulvydiene.
Kristin Baird was born in New Jersey (USA), and is a graduate of Cornell University
in Ithaca, New York. Vaida Ulvydiene is a native of Jonava (Lithuania), and
completed Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Both have extensive retail experience, and met while working together for Shell company.
