Kamesuehiro is a Kyogashi (special crafted cakes and confections that were made and presented in the Imperial court) store established in 1804京都でも老舗が並ぶ姉小路通にある、文化元年1804年創業の京菓子店「亀末廣」。江戸時代には徳川家康が築いた二条城や、京都御所にも菓子を納めていたという老舗菓子店だ。
「京のよすが」は、亀末廣を代表する商品で、四畳半に区切った木箱に季節感豊かな菓子を詰め合わせたもの。ススキや芋、観世水の入った秋の詰め合わせ（写真）は、5,500円。四季折々の草花を巧みにデザインした、色彩豊かな詰め合わせは、季節に応じて内容が変るため、箱を開ける度に目を楽しませる。
手づくりの良さにこだわりながら、昔ながらの変らない味、京菓子の風情や風雅を守り続けているのが何世代にも渡って愛されてきた理由だろう。

“Kyonoyosuga” (photo) is the most known Kyogashi box set in Kamesuehiro. The box is divided by a four and a half mat like and each section has different sweets represents sense of a season. The box has different sweets in each season, so it is surprised to see what are inside.
Because Kamesuehiro carries its tradition in several generation, people admire its passion and keep visiting.
