京都国立近代美術館The National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto
平安神宮の参道と琵琶湖疎水に面して建つ、京都国立近代美術館。
日本の近代美術史全体に配慮しながら、京都を中心に関西・西日本の美術に比重を置き、Faced to the front approach to Heian Shrine and the canal of Lake Biwa, The National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto. Taking the whole history of modern art in Jpan, it focuses on collection and exhibition of the works in Kansai, West Japan, the world of Japanese paintings in Kyoto and Western paintings, as well as technical arts including the ceramics and fabric dyeings of Kanjiro kawai. Designed by Humihiko Maki, The Pritzker Architecture Prize winner.
