Sense 99, in Wellington Street, is a 2-floor cultural space, where could be an open gallery, a music house, a gathering venue or anything related to culture and artウェリントン通りにある「センス99」は、２フロアのカルチャースペース。オープンギャラリー、ライブハウスや、ミーティングプレイスとして、文化とアートに関する事なら何にでも利用できるスペースだ。2004年にオープンして以来、このアンティークな空間は地元のアーティストや音楽愛好家たちのお気に入りの場所として愛されてきた。営業は金曜日と土曜日のみである。
１階はラウンジのようになっており、雰囲気があって心地よい照明が友人と集い語らい合うための最高の演出をしてくれる。ヴィンテージ家具とフランス風の扉は古き良き時代に戻ったかのよう。壁にはアート作品が展示され、他にも新しい作品が定期的にディスプレイされる。これらの作品がセンス99の雰囲気に完璧に融け合う自由な空間で、人々は互いに交流を深め合うことができる。
２階は音楽を愛する人たちのためのライブ空間。プロのミュージシャンでなくとも、この場所に立ち寄れば皆でジャムセッションが楽しめる。ドラム、ギター、キーボードなどここには全てが揃っており、誰でも音楽を奏でながら素敵な時間を過ごすことができるのだ。
センス99はユニークな遊び場であり、国内外のアーティストやミュージシャンと出会うことのできる場所。オーナーは週末の間にギターやキーボード、絵画など様々なクラスを開講しようと計画中である。

Translation: Shiori Saito. Sense 99 was opened in 2004. Ever since, this antique space has been the favorite hang-outs for the artists and music lovers in the city. The space is only opened every Friday and Saturday.
The first floor is almost like a lounge. In here, the moody and yet cozy lighting creates the perfect atmosphere to chill and hang out with friends. Feeling back in time with the vintage furniture and the antique French doors. Art exhibition are showcased on the wall and new artworks are displayed regularly. People interact with each other in this free space. At the same time, the artwork blends in perfectly in the atmosphere of Sense 99.
The second floor is a live music venue for any people who are passionate in music. They don’t need to be professional musicians; they can be random people who drop by the place and jam a song with the crowd. Drums, guitars, keyboard etc. are all available in here. Anyone can play the music on stage and have a good time!
Sense 99 is a unique place for hang out and an excellent place to meet artists and musicians from local or even other countries. The owner is planning to organize classes, such as guitar, keyboard, painting and many more during the weekends. Stay tuned!
