Established by Hirofumi Kiyonaga in 1998, SOPH. seeks refined urban everyday outfits with minimal design. Changed the name as SOPHNET1998年、清永浩文により設立された「SOPH.（ソフ）」。ミニマムなデザインを軸に、洗練されたアーバンウェア（日常着）の追求を押し進めている。2002年からブランド名を「SOPHNET.（ソフネット）」へと変更し、宮島達男、ジュリアン・オピー 、ジャック・ピアソンなどの現代美術作家から、ラコステ、コンバース、ナイキなどとのコラボレーションなど、革新的な提案を続ける東京を代表するブランドだ。
他店同様に建築家・荒木信雄が内装デザインを手掛けた「SOPH. FUKUOKA」では、メインラインの「SOPHNET.」、架空のサッカーチーム・プロジェクト「F.C.R.B.」、ユニフォームの実験的提案「uniform experiment（ユニフォーム・エクスペリメント）」の他、「VISVIM（ヴィスヴィム）」、「TUMI（トゥミ）」などを扱っている。
ソフネットは、Jリーグ「大分トリニータ」のスポンサードも行っており、九州との繋がりも深い。福岡から発信される情報にも要注目だ。
また、２階、３階は、クオリティの高いアイテムを揃えるセレクトップ「BUFFALO（バッファロー）」がある。こちらも合わせておすすめしたい。

http://www.uniformexperiment.jp. since 2002, it became one of the leading brand based in Tokyo providing evolutional ideas such as collaborations with contemporary artists including Tatsuo Miyajima, Julian Opie, and Jack Pierson, and fashion brands including LACOSTE, Converse, and Nike.
The interior was designed by an architect Nobuo Araki who has designed other branches as well. The shop features their main line SOPHNET., a fictional soccer team project F.C.R.B., offering experimental uniform called uniform experiment, VISVIM, TUMI among others.
SOPHNET. is also a sponsor for one of Japanese professional soccer teams (J League), Oita Trinita. A select shop BUFFALO is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the same building.
