Close to Krank/Marcello in Yakuin, Fukuoka is a ‘moose’. It is located in a special place that is hard to find. A boiler room of a parking space in a building is the shopクランク／マルチェロからすぐ近く、薬院にある「mousse（ムース）」は、普通ではまず見つけることができない特殊な場所にある。とあるビルの駐車場スペースのボイラー室が店舗になっているのだ。店の前（ボイラー室のドア）の小さな灯りが目印。
店内には、ショップオーナーの香畑あかりさんがデザインしたオリジナルの雑貨や服、アクセサリーがアンティークの什器に並べられている。あかりさんが息子のよだれかけを作ったことから始まったムースは、今では、人気のエプロンをはじめ、機能的でありながらデザインも美しくをモットーに、生活の身のまわり品を生み出している。また、「ムース」というフィルターを通して、商品を作るだけでなく、舞台衣装のデザイン、製作、バレエの演出なども行っている。
また、ショップ右手、半外の開放的なスペースにも商品がディスプレイされているので、こちらもお見逃し無く。このユニークな店舗設計はマルチェロ同様、藤井健一郎氏が手がけた。

Inside the store, antique furniture displays original accessories and clothes designed by the owner, Akari Hata. ‘mousse’ started its history when she made her son’s bib. It now produces designs such as a popular aprons with the motto of ‘functional yet beautiful’. She also designs costume designs and directs ballet.
The right side of the shop lies a expansive space, where products are also being displayed so make sure not to miss. This unique shop was designed by Kenichiro Fujii, like its neighbour Krank/Marcello.
