A lazy stroll from the hotel along a wooden pierビーチフロントにあるリゾート施設「マディナ・ジュメイラ」が“アラビアの宮殿”なら、海に浮かぶレストラン「ピエル・シック」はまさに“王冠にはめられた宝石”。同リゾートの中で最高に贅沢な場所だ。ホテルからレストランまで、海に掛かる長い木の桟橋をゆったり歩いていると、現実の世界からロマンチックな夢の世界へと誘われているような気分になる。
レストランに一歩足を踏み入れれば、爽やかな潮風とアラビア湾の青い海が出迎えてくれる。360度パノラマの景色と洗練されたインテリアは、評判高い料理に加えこのレストランの魅力だ。店内のBGMは本物の波の音。海を挟んで見える７つ星ホテル「ブルジュ・アル・アラブ」や、マディナ・ジュメイラの壮麗な建物の眺めも楽しめる。
このレストランはシーフードがメインで、ワインも世界中から取り寄せた豊富な種類の中から料理に合せて選べる。ディナーの前菜の一つ、ガスパチョ・スープは試験管のようなかたちのお洒落なグラスで出され、ユニークな演出は素敵な夜の始まりにぴったり。
おすすめは、昼よりも夜。リゾートのランドーマークとなっている建物たちがライトアップされ実に美しく幻想的。しかし、灼熱のビーチで遊んだ後の休憩としてランチに訪れるのも良いかもしれない。レストランへと続く遊歩道は、お腹を空かせるのにもちょうど良い。

Once you enter this lone standing water shack, a balmy breeze and the serene views of the Gulf’s azure waters will welcome you. A panoramic view on all sides of the restaurant, coupled with the wonderful interior design of the restaurant make the location as important as the menu.
The background music here is the sound of calm waves and you can enjoy spectacular views of the Burj Al Arab and the Madinat Jumeirah.
Seafood is the house speciality and the restaurant has a wide selection of fine wines from around the world. The gazpacho soup served in a test-tube like glass with style is perfect beginning of the evening experience.
Evening is recommended for a visit, as many of the landmarks which can be seen from Pierchic have wonderfully ambient lighting at that time. However, lunch can be a good break from hot day out on the beach. The walk toward to restaurant across the wooden promenade is just long enough to work up an appetite.
