砂漠から３分ほど車を走らせた所にある「ジャム・ジャー」は、ドバイのアル・クオズ地区で最もアクティブなギャラリーの１つとして、数多くのイベントプログラムを開催している。Located in only 3 minute drive away from the desert, The Jam Jar is one of the most active galleries in the Al Quoz area of Dubai and has a full programme of eventsアル・クオズは、ドバイの工業地帯で多くのウエアハウスが集まっている場所だ。
その荒れた工場街が、近年では、若いアーティストたちが新しくワークショップを開く場所として注目が集まっており、今ではドバイのアートシーンのハブとして成長を見せている。
このDIYスタイルの都市型現代アートギャラリーは、海外の作家から新進気鋭の国内の作家まで幅広いアーティストのインスタレーションにフォーカスしている。

Al Quoz is an industrial area in Dubai where many warehouses are located. This barren warehouse village was recently spotted by local artists having good potential as a place to locate their new workshop and the area is now being transformed into the hub of Dubai’s art scene.
The Jam Jar, an urban DIY style contemporary art gallery, features installations from international artists to emerging local talents. The Jam Jar is definitely meeting its aim on building links with the community, making art accessible to all.
