Cultural Club Matienzo is a multispace area devoted to the creation, production and exhibition of cultural content. It was opened to the public on September 7th 2008, in a 1922 three-storey house restored by the creators of the project文化施設マティエンゾは、ものづくりや文化的なコンテンツの展示会に徹した多目的施設だ。1922年に建てられた３階建ての建物をアウグスティン・ジェイス、クラウディオ、ジョン・フェニング、ジョアン・アラノヴィッチ、マガ・シンガーマン、マイア・ミノヴィッチらクリエイター達の手によって改装されたこの施設は、コレヒアレス地区に2008年9月7日にオープンした。
施設では、教育プログラム、ラジオ番組、福祉プロジェクトに加えてイベント、季節ごとの催し、展示会、音楽、舞台、映画、文学、アートやデザインフェスティバルなど様々な種類の活動が行われている。毎日50~300人ほどがこの場所を訪れるが、その内の大半は18〜35歳の若者だ。
このカルチャーセンターはプロジェクトの特徴のひとつでもある革新的な方法がとられており、現在では30人が関わっているチームメンバーが確定するまでの間友人同士が集まって考案され、独自に進められてきたプロジェクトだ。
特別感のある雰囲気の中、次から次へとそれぞれのスペースで催しがあり、訪れる人達はたくさんの選択肢の中からその時の気分で選べる。マティエンゾはショーを見たり何かの講座を受けてみたり、テラスで友人達とビールを楽しむのに理想的な場所と言えるだろう。

The Club is open Tues-Sun 6:00pm onwards, and it offers all kinds of activities: events, seasons, exhibitions and music, theatre, film, literature, visual arts and design festivals, as well as educational activities, radio broadcasting and welfare projects.
The Club is visited daily by between 50 and 300 people, mostly youths between 18 and 35 years of age.
The cultural centre is a project that has been conceived and independently implemented by a group of friends, a group which has grown with the inclusion of staff, until a work team was formed, which nowadays involves 30 people and has implemented an innovative work methodology, one of the distinctive features of the project.
The atmosphere is special, there are small spaces one after the other, which create microclimates and different options for the visitors to choose from, according to their mood. Matienzo is an ideal place to watch a show, take a class or share a beer with friends on the terrace.
