Buenos Aires has an interesting range of cultural offers. The Luna Park Stadium is the place where a great many annual events were hosted in the last 70 years70余年に渡り、多くの行事が行われているルナパークスタジアムは、元はスポーツセンターとして、建築家のチアポッリとキュイロズの手によって建てられたもの。ブエノスアイレスのショーとナイトライフの中心地に、通りを囲むように正方形に作られ、最近では音楽コンサートやスポーツイベントなどの会場になっている。
建物内にはブライアン・アダムスやジェームス・ブラウンなどの彫像が飾ってあり、本当に重要な彫像はルナパークのステージにある。また、ディズニーオンアイスの会場として、さらに国民的英雄ディエゴ・マラドーナの結婚式を行ったことでも有名だ。
ルナパークを訪れると、華麗なショーを見ることも出来るし、ナショナルモニュメントにもお目にかかれる。ただ、ショーのチケットはすぐに売切れてしまうので前売りチケットの購入がおすすめだ。プエルト・マデロにも近く、ナイトライフにも最適な場所だ。

Translation: Kazunari Hongo. As an architectural piece it is a place you must visit. The building work was in the hands of architects Chiaporri and Quiroz. Initially, it was a sports centre — this can be noticed in the detail of the dancers in skates carved in its outdoor walls, providing them with a vintage touch, especially if we take into account the fact that the building work began in 1931 and the stadium opened to the public in 1932.
Located in the square made by Bouchard, Madero and Lavalle Streets and Corrientes Avenue —at the heart of the Buenos Aires show and nightlife — it is nowadays the venue for music concerts and, to a lesser extent, for some sports events.
Local and international figures have been in this building of impressive architecture that takes up a whole square in the downtown area. Pet Shop Boys, Franz Ferdinand, Tom Jones, Bryan Adams, The White Stripes, Placebo, James Brown are but a few of the most important figures that have been on stage in the Luna Park. It has also hosted shows such as Disney on Ice and even the wedding of renowned Argentinean football player Diego Maradona.
The Luna Park is strategically located close to Puerto Madero, and it is also near the Obelisc and the nightlife on Corrientes Avenue.
Visiting the Luna Park is a two-fold experience, for its outstanding shows on the one hand, and what going into the building, declared National Monument some years ago, entails on the other. It is advisable to check the shows offered well in advance, because tickets are quickly sold out.
