Located in the residential area of Recoleta, this hotel remains in the site it was founded in 1932. Elegance and good taste are the result of its refined French architecture. Its first plans were brought back from Paris by architect Miero, who worked together with interior designer Verschere, with the assistance of architects Pirovano and Brodsky, engineers Escudero and Ortúzar and architect Medhurst Thomas and his partner G.E.Harri.
From then on, the building has been restored several times, keeping its original style: eleven floors decorated in Louis XIV and XVI style, with style furniture, crystal chandeliers, walls decorated in gold and silver plates and works of art by renowned artists.
The hotel has 197 rooms, out of which 100 are elegantly decorated suites. The variety of luxurious services and facilities is broad: Hermés amenities, 500 thread Egyptian cotton sheets, personal butler service are a few of the most unusual, whereas other more conventional options are also available, such as Internet service, Spa, etc.
Its range of restaurants and bars such as La Bourgogne, L’Orangerie and El Jardín D’Hiver is located within the hotel and offers high quality gastronomy to guests.
