The brand of clothes Vero Alfie launched its first collection in the year 2003, in the Porteño neighbourhood of Palermo, and it has grown on a par with the area, which is nowadays the cradle of signature designアパレルブランド「ベロ・アルフィー」は2003年にパレルモ地区で初のコレクションを発表し、シグネチャー柄の先駆けとして、この地域の発展と共に今日ではラテンアメリカ中のファッションを代表する存在にまで成長した。
ブランドの創設者ヴェロニカはこの業界で長いキャリアを持ち、彼女はこれまでに「ヤグマー」や、「ビタミナ」などの有名アルゼンチンファッションブランドにも携わってきた。彼女のデザインの特徴は、そのディテールや仕上げ、また高級素材を使用したモダンでフェミニンなスタイルだ。彼女のコレクションは、ラマやヤギの織物、リネン、ウール、ピマ綿とシルクなどの素材にもこだわっている。通年のマストアイテムは、洗練された刺繍入りのものや、ヴィンテージ風のドレスやシルクブラウスなどのナイトウェアだ。
ベロ・アルフィーは最近、パレルモソーホー（旧パレルモ）の店舗を建築家ヴィヴィアン・シュワルツによってリニューアルした。ハッピーな雰囲気でありながらシックさも兼ね備え、美しく揃えられた新しいインテリアは、ゲストを幸福で陽気な気持ちにさせてくれる。カラーはホワイトを基調とし、厳選されたブラック、アクア、サンゴ色を使っている。デザイナーのコンセプトは、デザインだけではなく店の雰囲気全体で、訪れたものを笑顔にすること。店を訪れれば、そのコンセプトが十分に活きていることを実感できるだろう。

Verónica has a long career in the industry; her experience includes renowned Argentine fashion brands, such as Yagmour and Vitamina. The hallmark of her designs is modern and feminine, with special attention to detail and finishing touches and an interesting search for noble materials. Her collections include llama and goat weavings, linen, wool, Pima cotton and silk. The last season must are evening garments: dresses and silk blouses with sophisticated embroidery and a vintage look.
Vero Alfie has recently renewed her store in Palermo Soho (Old Palermo) with architect Vivian Swartz. The new interior decoration has been planned with happy chic aesthetics, which arouses feelings of well-being and cheerfulness. The colour palette chosen combines a predominance of white with well-chosen touches of black, aqua and coral. The designer’s goal was to make visitors smile on entering the store, not only at the designs but also at the atmosphere in itself. She has definitely attained her goal.
