Seco is a brand that specializes in clothes aimed at protecting from the rain, the cold and the wind without leaving aside originalitySECO（セコ）は雨具や防寒ファッションに特化したオリジナリティあふれるブランドだ。クリエーター、ヴェロニカ・ド・ミエロはローカルスタディーの後、SECOを立ち上げ、これまで雨の日の洋服やアクセサリーを扱うブランドが無かったことを世に知らしめた。
ブランドのイチオシはラバーブーツ。目をひく色使いにヒョウ柄、タータンなどのかわいい柄や無地のもの、または鋲と質感にこだわったタイプのものがある。『私たちの会社には、かつて食肉加工工場や病院で働く人向けにブーツを販売していた製造者がいたんだけど、需要が増すうちに彼はうちのブランドの専門製造者になったのよ。』とヴェロニカは話す。
目をひく色使いのレインコートからシャツ、スカート、ジャケットなど、特に雨の日向けではない洋服も含め、幅広い品揃えを展開している。雨傘はレトロなプリントで今までにない斬新な色使いのものから、なんと透明なものも！またSECOのアクセサリーはバッグ、財布、スニーカー、ショールまで揃っている。
ショップ・ウィンドウはまるで演劇のワンシーンとアート・インスタレーションを融合したよう。道行く人に『雨が降ってくれたら、お店に入って素敵なデザインのアイテムを買う言い訳になるのに。』と思わせるほどだ。ブエノスアイレスではよく雨が降るので、たまには誘惑にのってラバーブーツを買ってみるのも悪くない。

Its creator is Verónica de Miero, who created Seco after carrying out a local study and confirmed the absence of a brand specialized in rain clothes and accessories. The must-have of the brand are its rubber boots: the variety includes daring prints – leopard, tartan – and plain – in striking colours or with details of tacks and textures.
Verónica says they have a specialized manufacturer who formerly sold boots for workers in meat processing plants, hospitals, etc. Upon an increase in demand, he became the exclusive manufacturer of the brand.
There is a wide variety of clothes offered including items that are not to be used in the rain: raincoats in striking colours, shirts, skirts, jackets. Seco also makes accessories: umbrellas with old-fashioned prints, or in unconventional colours and even transparent! Bags, purses, sneakers and shawls complete the list of accessories made by Seco.
The shop window always calls attention: it is a mixture of theatrical scenery and art installation, making passers-by wish it would rain to have an excuse to enter the shop and buy one of these items or accessories with such a nice design. Taking into account the fact that in Buenos Aires it rains quite often it is not a bad idea to follow temptation and buy a pair of rubber boots from Seco.
