In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Barrio Norte there is a hidden place, which seems to maintain a certain calmness and magic. It is Rue des Artisans, a complex half Parisian and half Argentine活気と賑わいにあふれたバリオ・ノルテの中心にあまり知られていない場所がある。静かで神秘的なその場所の名前はアルチザン通り。パリッ子とアルゼンッ子が交じり合い、優れた職人がアートギャラリーを行き来し、雰囲気の良い通りをつくり出す。「コム・イル・フォー」はここの狭い道に位置する、一風変わったタンゴのシューズショップだ。
このブランドの創始者アリシア・ムニズ。彼女はタンゴダンサーであり、ブエノスアイレスにあるタンゴのステージでレギュラー出演している。彼女はもっと良い質とデザインのタンゴシューズがつくれないかと、友人と自身のためにシューズを作り始めたのだ。こうして、2003年に、同じくミロンガスのレギュラーであるラケル・コルトゥリナーリと手を組み、「コム・イル・フォー」は誕生した。(この名前はエデゥアルド・アローラによるクラシックタンゴの曲名。フランス語で「それがそうあるべきであるように」という意味。)
彼らはすぐにプロやアマチュアダンサーたちから注文を受けた。それは彼女たちの足を輝かせ、色っぽく上品で履き心地が良い。そんなシューズを求める一般女性からも同様に注文を受けるようになった。ユニークで芸術性の高い「コム・イル・フォー」のシューズを、オシャレな女性たちが見逃すはずもなく、これらのシューズを求めて世界中から女性客が訪れる。

Translation: Kyoko Ogawara, where art galleries and exquisite craftsmen alternate, creating a kind of ‘good-taste gallery’. It is in this narrow street where Comme il Faut is located, a tango shoe-shop unlike any other.
The creator of the brand is Alicia Muñiz, a tango dancer and a regular in the Buenos Aires ‘milongas’ (tango places), who initially began making the shoes for herself and her friends because she believed that traditional tango shoes lacked good design and quality. In 2003, she partnered Raquel Coltrinari, also a regular in the Buenos Aires ‘milongas’, and in this way Comme il Faut was born (the name is the title of the classic tango by Eduardo Arolas, which in French means ‘as it should be’).
In no time, they began to get orders from the best professional and amateur dancers, as well as from the women who seek good quality shoes that will highlight their feet and sensually, elegantly and comfortably reveal their legs.
It is not strange to find in the charming store women from all over the world, because each pair of Comme il Faut shoes is a unique piece, a work of art, which no stylish woman would want to miss.
