「アイレス」は1998年の設立以来、アルゼンチンの五本指に入る女性服トップブランドへと成長し、クールで現代的な感性を持ってその人が持つ女性らしさを見つけて表現できるようなNew colours, printed in old-fashioned motifs, spatial broadness and modernity are the 4 basic factors living together in the Palermo Soho Ayres store洋服を提供している。
そんなエアーズの数ある店舗の中でも、新色、昔を想わせるモチーフが描かれたプリント、空間的広さ、現代性の４つを併せ持つのがパレルモ・ソーホー店である。
400平方mもの広い店内は、デザインとアートがファッションと共存した空間となっている。建築的要素に負う部分も大きく、店内の装飾は建築家アクセル・フリードマンとトリスタン・ディエゲスの２人のチームワークによりデザインされている。また芸術家ロヘリオ・ポールセローによるウィンドー装飾も目を引き、窓に飾られた幾何学模様のサイケデリックな作品はアイレスのコレクションに使われたのと同じ紅紫色、スミレ色、黄色、オレンジと黒、茶色などの組み合わせが使われている。
一階のガラス張りの天井からは光が差し込み、飾られた洋服たちをより一層際立たせている。また、店内には階段ではなく傾斜路が授けられており、２階へと繋がっている。
アイレスはファッションを提供する場としてはもちろん、洋服、空間の見事な調和が美しく、それもまたこのショップの魅力の一つとなっている。
訪れた際には洋服だけではなく、是非空間的な要素にも目を向けてみて貰いたい。

With the opening of this 400-square-metre space, Ayres takes a new path in which design and art go hand in hand with fashion. The change in the store’s aesthetics and the importance assigned to the architectural space and its decoration is noticed in the successful team of architects hired —Axel Fridman & Tristán Dieguez— as well as in the intervention of the shop window arranged by successful artist Rogelio Polesello.
The store’s organization is ruled by a wide ramp that is displayed as soon as one enters the space and which allows us to reach the second level. The feeling is that in a spacecraft: marked diagonals and a great umber of light tubes arranged in an amazing way —beneath the ramp, for instance. The first floor has a completely glazed ceiling, thus allowing light income into the room, highlighting the striking clothing items.
The geometric-psychedelic piece by Rogelio Polesello in the shop window has the colour shades used for the Ayres collection: fuchsia, violet, yellow, orange and green alternating with classic black, brown, grey and white. This shop does not only fulfil perfectly its function and as fashion window, but it is also astounding for its balance between the daring disposition of the clothes and the space and its dimensions.
