The Michelberger is probably Berlin’s coolest choice for an overnight or extended stay, which amazingly doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg. It is a clever, design-orientated space which delightfully attractsベルリンで宿泊または連泊するなら、ミシェルベルガー・ホテルがおすすめ。スタイリッシュなうえに、宿泊料も意外とリーズナブルなのだ。デザインなどクリエイティブなものに関心の高い宿泊客を魅了する、こだわり抜かれたデザイン性の高い空間が魅力。
ホテル内には、遊び心がありながらも落ち着けるバーやカフェが備えられており、体を動かしたい時は、屋外の散歩コース、さらに屋内の卓球施設で軽く汗を流すこともできる。
ホテルの玄関口にあるヒネリの利いたネオンサインから、選び抜かれた本でつくられた壁やテーブル、さらに天井から吊り下がる大きなランプシェードまで、このホテルに満ちているクリエイティブな美学は称賛せずにはいられない。手掛けたのは、チーフ・デザイナーのヴェルナー・アイスリンガー。
ミッシェルベルガー・ホテルを裏で支えるチームは、クリエイティブ集団と言っても過言ではない。このホテルのデザインのあらゆる側面にウィットと創造的知性が溢れていることが何よりもの証拠だ。 また、ホテルではユニークな「オルタナティブ・ツアー」も実施されている。平日の正午から、ベルリンの街を彩る有名なストリート・アートを案内してもらえる。
ホテルの部屋も、恋人との愛の逃避行にうってつけの「Chalet（別荘）」や、バンドのツアーで訪れた際に便利な「Band（バンド）」など、一風変わったカテゴリーで楽しませてくれる。しかしなんと言っても外してはならないのが、カフェで提供されるドイツ風ビュッフェ式朝食だ。宿泊客だけでなく、地元の人たちが好んで利用するのも頷ける味だ。

Inside the hotel you’ll also find an incredible bar and cafe space with a sense of ease and play. Including an outside area for lounging, with the option of a healthily competitive round of ping pong.
It’s hard not to admire the creative aesthetic of the hotel, from the neon signage to the clever use of hand selected books, covering walls and serving as innovative tables. All this beneath pages of book-clad lampshades, by chief designer Werner Aisslinger.
The team behind the Michelberger are in fact a group of creatives themselves. The direct reason why there is a slice of wit and creative intelligence behind each facet of design in the hotel.
Of course a unique Alternative Tour is also on offer, leaving the hotel at 12noon each weekday. It’s a more relevant take on historical walks, which takes you through the best street art that has been notoriously decorating Berlin buildings.
Whether you are on a romantic getaway in the lovers’ Chalet Room, or on tour with the crew in the Band Room, the German buffet breakfast is an absolute must!
It’s unsurprising that locals choose to enjoy a drink here too.
