So here I will tell you about a cozy store to keep in mind, conveniently located in Mitte: A.D.Deertzベルリンで良い服を探すのに苦労しないのは、そう選択肢が多くはないからだ。ここでは、便利なミッテに位置する、心に留めておいて欲しい心地の良い店A.D.デーツを紹介する。このプロジェクトの発起人であるヴィプケ・デーツは熱心な旅人でもあり、冒険好きなデザイナーだ。それゆえに全体のコレクションの中にはバンコク、ポルトガル、ハノイ、ブエノスアイレスなどで生まれたブランドも含まれる。
ショールームの中には都会の紳士のためのパンツ、シャツ、Tシャツ、スエット、セーター、ジャケット、ベルトやバッグのようなアイテムが幅広くゆったりと陳列されている。それとは別にA.D.ディーツには定番のネオクラシックの商品も幅広く、20着程度の品揃えで用意している。手作業で選ばれた高品質の商品は伝統的な技術、ディテール、希少な原材料に糸目をつけない愛情を込められており、竹素材のキャップや伝統的なベトナムのハサミなどの美しくも少し変わったものも並べられている。大抵のA.D.ディーツの商品は業界内の季節の決められたトレンドの枠にとらわれず、自然のつくるサイクルを強調している。

Translation: Maaru Hiyama. It is the project of the adventurous designer Wibke Deertz, a compulsive traveler. Thus, the entire collections of the brand are literally born in places such as Buenos Aires, Hanoi, Bangkok or Portugal.
The showroom caters to the laid back urban gentleman by serving up a broad collection of pants, shirts, tees, sweatshirts, sweaters, jackets, and accessories such as belts, scarves and bags. Apart from serving up a whole range of A.D.Deertz staple men’s neo-classics, the shop also offers a wide array of exclusive items, made in editions of 20 pieces or less.
A hand picked selection of high quality garments from like minded companies, that also work with traditional production techniques, have a love affair with details and rare materials, is also in stock, alongside beautiful oddities such as bamboo baseball hats or traditional Vietnamese scissors. Most A.D.Deertz products are made outside of the industry dictated idea of seasons, and rather emphasize the natural creative cycles of the label.
A.D.Deertz is all about making laid back, unpretentious, timeless, quality products. In her own words: “I want to make clothes that look like the guy who wears them had them for years – and they’re his favorite things.”
