Gestalten has produced the ultimate creative space to showcase their publishing and host workshops and exhibitions, all in one of Berlin’s most inviting courtyards印刷物は確実に存在し続ける――そのことを証明するかのように、ベルリンの居心地のいい中庭のあるスペースで、ドイツの有名なインディーズ出版社「ゲシュタルテン」は自らが刊行する出版物を紹介し、ワークショップや展覧会を開催している。
国内外で知られるゲシュタルテン社は1995年の創立以来、ユニークなタイトルを刊行し続けている。現代社会を鋭く反映したファッションやイラスト、最新のグラフィックデザインから世界中のアーティストの作品集まで、知的な作品が揃う。
そんな彼らが、ベルリンに読書とインスピレーションを得るのに最高の場「ゲシュタルテン・スペース」をプロデュースした。ショップにギャラリーが併設されたそのスペースはゾーフィエン通りの居心地のいい中庭のある建物の中にあり、隣にはシンシア・バルコーミのデリや国際的なアーバン・アート・ギャラリー「サークル・カルチャー」がある。
ゲシュタルテン・スペースはゲシュタルテンの本とその作家たちにとってまさに天国、最新のタイトルを紹介するのにうってつけの場所だ。訪れた人にとっても、デザイン、ファッション、アートや建築に関する本をゆっくりと見て回るのにちょうどいい。スペース中央には大きなテーブルが設置され、訪れた人々がそこでゆったりと思い思いの時間を楽しむことができる。
スペース内ではクリエイターのための最新のデジタル機器やデザイン性の高い製品、職人の手仕事でつくられた工芸品などなど、書籍以外にもさまざまな商品が販売されているので、何時間いても飽きない。ゲシュタルテンが刊行する作品集のアーティストの作品を展示するそのギャラリースペースは、感度の高いベルリンっ子に人気だ。
書店、ギャラリー、デザイングッズのショップ、そしてクリエイティブなワークショップの場でもあるここは、まさに究極の「クリエイティブ・スペース」だ。

One of the most familiar international & independent publishers, Gestalten, was founded in 1995 and have been producing unique titles since. An intelligent range of titles, most a subtle reflection on contemporary society, from fashion illustration or graphic design today, to international artist monographs.
In Berlin, they have created the perfect go-to space for reading and inspiration. A retail and gallery space, that is found nestled in the calm courtyard of Sophienstraße, alongside Cynthia Barcomi’s Deli and international urban art gallery, Circle Culture.
The space is an ultimate haven for their books, collaborative artists, and a perfect place to showcase their latest titles. Gestalten Space is a great chance to spend a little extra time perusing titles dedicated to design, fashion, art and architecture. An encouraging central table is placed for guests, making it very hard not to feel comfortably welcome and enjoy yourself!
Any easy couple of hours can be spent here, with accompanying innovative products and gadgets for the creative shopper. Design-orientated products, or hand-made high quality crafts. In addition, Gestalten Gallery Space is found towards the back of the Store, exhibiting works from their monograph published artists and hosting Berlin’s elite creative crowd.
