セレクシーズ書店 聖ドミニカ教会店Selexyz Dominicanen

オランダの書店「セレクシーズ」が、14世紀に建てられた聖ドミニカ教会など歴史ある建物を改装してできたマーストリヒト市の大型ショッピングモールThe Boekhandel Selexyz has opened a book shop Selexyz Dominicanen in the old Dominican church (build in 14th century), a part of the shopping mall Entre Deux located in Maastricht「アントレ・デュ」内に書店「セレクシーズ・ドミニカネン」（聖ドミニカ教会店）を2006年12月にオープン。この店舗は、英ガーディアン紙、2008年の「世界一美しい書店」に選ばれている。内装を手がけたのは、オランダの設計事務所「メルクス＋ギロド」。
現在、聖者トーマス・アクイナスの生涯を描いた1337年のフレスコ壁画を修復中。

The refurbishment by Dutch architects Merkx+Girod. The Guardian chose Selexyz Dominicanen as the finest bookshop of the world in 2008.
In 2009 they will finish restoration of their entrance and the unique secco wall painting from 1337 representing the life of Saint Thomas Aquinas.
