2008年にオープンした「ディスティネーション・ショップ」。この”シークレット”ファッションブティックは、マケドニア出身の1968年生まれロバート・リステスキーがオーナーを務めている。Destination Shop opened its doors in 2008. Owner of this ‘secret’ fashion boutique is Robert Risteski, born1968 in Skopje, Macedonia.彼は90年代初頭にオランダに移住。アートカレッジとファッション系の学校を終えた後、ロンドンとパリにある「ココン・トウザイ」のオーナーのマラヤン・ペジョスキーのもとで２年間働いた。その後、アムステルダムに「ココン・トウザイ」の姉妹店を開く事を決め「ディスティネーション・ショップ」をオープン。ロケーションは、中心部に位置しているが、込み合ったショッピングエリアからは少し離れている。
毎月ロバートは常設のデザイナー、グループ、彼らの製品の中にゲストデザイナーを迎え展示、販売している。主なコレクションはマラヤン・ペジョスキー、ココン・トウザイ、エリック・ルボン、ホレース、ダニエル・パリッロ、オズワルド・ヘルガソン、アンド・ビヨンド、カインド。さらに、ロバートは若手映像ビデオアーティスト、最先端のグラフィックス、新しいマガジン、ジュエリー、香水と様々な仕事を展開している。

Text: Kirstin Hanssen “I came to Holland in the early 90’s. After I finished Art College on Rietveld Academie and then Arnhem Fashion Institute, I started working for Marjan Pejoski, who’s the owner of Kokon to Zai in London and Paris. After two years working on her label KTZ, I decided to open a Kokon to Zai sister like shop in Amsterdam.”
The location of Destination shop is very central, but still off from the crowded shopping areas. “This location radiates mystery and it completes the idea of searching, digging for your destination or for something special. What makes this shop special is the choice of designers and labels and the way of presenting it. I want to express the atmosphere of some kind of 3D Facebook or a monthly magazine. Besides that I offer very edgy, one of a kind pieces.”
Each month Robert invites a guest designer to exhibit and to sell his or her work next to the permanent group of designers in the collection: Marjan Pejoski, Kokon to Zai, Eric Lebon, Horace, Daniel Palillo, Ostwald Helgason, …andbeyond and KIND. Furthermore Robert shows work of young video artists, cutting edge graphics, new magazines, cool jewelry, perfumes and more.
