ホォアナ・デ・アルコは1998年にアルゼンチン人デザイナーであるマリアナ・コルテスがパレルモ地区にオープンさせた店。ラテンアメリカならではのカラフルなデザインと一つ一つ手でプリントされたポップで楽しい柄の組み合わせは、自然とそしてアートの持つ自由を感じさせる。
定番はなんといってもパンツ、ブラジャーなどの下着類だが、他にもパラグアイのニャンドゥティという伝統手芸であるレース網のディーテルを組み込んだワンピースやシャツなど、プレタポルテ的なラインも提供している。

Juana de Arco’s shop was opened in the Palermo district by Argentine designer Mariana Cortés in 1998. The combination of pop and fun patterns each of which printed by hand and their typical Latino American colors offer us the sense of the liberty of art and nature.
The most famous products of Juana de Arco are underwear such as panties and brassieres. But recently they are used to work with the traditional Paraguayan lacemaking “Nyanduti” incorporated as details on dresses and shirts that figure as the prêt-à-porter line.
