Opened in 2010, iLIVETOMORROW is a creative space dedicated to experimental design explorations, a lab for prospective and innovative collaborations with designers, artists, architects and manufacturers2010年にオープンした「アイリブトゥモロー」は、エクスペリメンタルデザインの探求や、デザイナー、アーティスト、建築家、メーカーが共同で活動できる革新的なラボとして機能するクリエイティブスペース。この場所は、建築、デザイン、都市型企画を行うオフィス「DAZLAB」を手掛けたニコラ・ボルグ・ピザーニにより設立された。
パリ、ウィーン、香港など、世界の様々な都市でデザインと建築を教えてきた設立者の経験を生かし、アイリブトゥモローではデザインを専門に、国内外の作家による展覧会を開くなど、あらゆる実験的な活動を行っている。また、デザイナーとのコラボレーションを行うプロジェクト「エディション」もスタートする予定。
アイリブトゥモローは、かつて印刷所およびアパートとして使用されていた建物の１階と２階をリノベートしてオープンした。またこのスペースのある上環地区は、アートギャラリーなどが集中しはじめた人気のエリアなので、他のギャラリーを巡りながら訪れるのも楽しい。

Text: Mariko Takei. This space was founded by Nicola Borg-Pisani who has also founded DAZLAB, an office for architecture, design and urban experiments.
Through the founder’s experience of teaching design and architecture in various cities including Paris, Vienna and Hong Kong, iLIVETOMORROW offers to create a space fully dedicated to design by organizing exhibitions of national and international artists and designers to explore experimental practices.
iLIVETOMORROW also develops another project called “EDITION”, where they collaborate with designers. Sitting on the 2 floors, ground and 1st floors, with 1200 square feet, the space is opened in the old building where was used once as a printing company and apartment. It is located in Sheung Wan in a trendy local district where you can find several art galleries.
