I guess every capital of the world has its tower of viewpoint where to get the best overview of the urban landscape or just a sight of the whole city itself. Stockholm is absented of high heights so Kaknästornetおそらく世界にある全ての首都には、都会の街並みや街全体をいちばん良い位置で見晴らせる場所に塔があるだろう。ストックホルムにはそうした高層の建物がないので、スウェーデンのテレビ局、ラジオ局、衛星放送局の通信塔であるカクネス塔が必然的にその役割を担っている。
実際には、ターニング・トルソとキスタ・サイエンス・タワーに次ぐ、この国では三番目に高い建物である。建築家ベント・リンドロースにより設計され、60年代後半に完成した。カフェとレストランが塔の中にあるので、美しい眺めとともにお馴染みのスウェーデン菓子とコーヒーを楽しむこともできる。
バンケットのオプションもあり、会合やパーティーを開くことも可能。地下にはギフトショップがあり、上階に行けるエレベーターが付いている。外からの眺めが好きな人なら、最上階に、金属の格子で安全が確保されたテラスも。エンパイア・ステート・ビルディングとほぼ同じスタイルになっている。

Translation: Shiori Saitobesides being the tower-major-hub of Swedish television, radio and satellite broadcasts it fulfills this role without a doubt.
Actually is the 3rd highest building in Sweden (after Turning Torso and Kista Science Tower respectively). The tower was designed by architect Bengt Lindroos and it was finished in the late 60´s.
A café place and restaurant is located on the tower so you can also enjoy some of the well known Swedish pastry with coffee meanwhile observing such a beautiful superb view. You can also have the option of a Festvåning, what it means you can rent it for your own conferences or parties.
A souvenir store is located in the basement. There is an elevator to lift you up. If you are the kind of person that prefer outdoor views, above to the top floor you also have a terrace, well covered by a metalic grating. Pretty much in the same way such in the Empire State building.
