It´s not that common to find such a place in Stockholm. We actually could say that its way is more similar to a bar in Madrid or Barcelona that in the capital of Swedenストックホルムには珍しい場所である。どちらかと言えば、スウェーデンの首都というよりはマドリードやバルセロナで見られるバーのようなスタイル。わずかなダイニングテーブルがあり、ドリンクと食事が店の中央に島のように存在するバーから提供される。しかし誤解しないで欲しい。バックフィッカンはスカンジナビア料理をベースとしたとてもユニークなスウェーデン的場所なのである。
この店は有名なオペラハウス「オペラシェラレン」内にある。「バックフィッカン」とは「後ポケット」という意味で、名の通りオペラシェラレンにぴったりと付属しているのだ。静的だが躍動感のある心地良い空間、小さく親しみやすいバーに28名分という限られた席数。ここではいつも賑やかさと活発さに出会える。
バックフィッカンのスペシャルメニューとなっている美味しいスウェーデン料理の数々、ワーレンベルガーやビフ・ア・ラ・リンドストローム、トースト・スカーゲンは、スウェーデンの伝統的なヒュスマンスコスト（家庭総菜料理）としても知られる。オーソドックスでシンプルだが洗練されたスウェーデン料理である。
ここは席の予約をして行くような店ではない。ふらりと出掛けて、有名なU字型のバーのひと席を取るもよし、脇にある小さなテーブル席につくもよし。夏場には、ヤコブ広場とクングストレゴーデンに面した魅力的な屋外テラスを楽しむこともできる。

Translation: Shiori Saito, since here you have barely dining tables and drinks and food are serve all along the bar as an island in the middle.
But don´t take me wrong, Bakfickan is a very unique Swedish place based on Scandinavian food. It actually belongs to the famous Opera House Operakällaren. Bakfickan means “back pocket”, so here you go. Still yet dynamic but cozy place, small and intimate bar with seats for only 28 guests. Here you always will find fuzz and motion.
The menu speciality of Bakfickan is tasty swedish cuisine including Wallenbergare, Biff a la Lindström and Toast Skagen also known as swedish classic husmanskost, average and simple but yet refined swedish dishes.
This is not the place where you book a table, instead slip in grab a seat in the famous u-shaped bar or one of the small tables along the sides. In the summer you find a tempting outdoors terrace facing Jakobs Torg and Kungsträdgården.
