Located at the foot of the Futago Mountain in the high residential area of Sapporo, Conde House Sapporo is a furniture showroom divided into 3 floors札幌の高級住宅地である、双子山の麓にある「カンディハウス札幌」。ショールームは、ガラス張りで開放感があり、自然の景色を取り込んだ洗練された空間となっている。１階から地下２階まで、各フロアは異なる構成になっており、生活シーンに合わせてディスプレイされているため実際に使うイメージが沸きやすい。
カンディハウスは、1968年に木工の街として知られる北海道・旭川で生まれた家具メーカー。良質の木材と卓越した職人の技術を生かし、洗練されたデザインの家具を展開している。札幌を含む全国12箇所を拠点に、アメリカ、ドイツにも販売拠点があり、そのクオリティの高さから、世界中に多くのファンが存在する。
また、国内外のデザイナーとのコラボレーションも積極的に行っている。最近ではデザイナー、ペーター・マリーの「tosai LUX」シリーズや、東京都現代美術館のパーマネントコレクションにも選定された、建築家・矢萩喜從郎のデザインによる「WHY NOT?」、彫刻家・流政之がはじめて手掛けたチェアシリーズなどがある。
購入時、購入後のサービスも万全だ。カンディハウスでは特注家具を専門に製作する部署がある。例えば、セミオーダーサービスでは、お気に入りのチェアー脚を使う家族の用途に合わせてカットしたり、リビングのソファーの張り地を約200種類の布地、革からセレクトしたり、使う人のこだわりをそのまま形にできてしまう。
セミオーダーサービスに加え、レストア（修理・再生）サービスも行っている。限りある木材資源を長く大切に活用することをモットーとしているカンディハウスでは、愛着のある家具を可能な限り、再生することが可能だ。カンディハウスの家具はどれもモダンなデザインだがロングユースできる使いやすさがある。

Conde House is a furniture manufacturer established in 1968 in Asahikawa Hokkaido, where is known for the town of wood craft. Utilizing high quality timber and world-class craftsmanship, they have been producing refined design of furniture. There are 12 showrooms nationwide, in addition to the international showrooms in the US and Germany.
They also actively collaborate with national and international designers including Peter Maly‘s “tosai LUX” series, architect Kijuro Yahagi‘s “WHY NOT?” selected for the permanent collection at Museum of Contemporary Tokyo, sculptor Masayuki Nagare‘s ever first chair series among others.
They will provide you a complete service before and after your purchase. There is a special department in Conde House, that will take your custom design orders. The semi-order service, for example, will offer you a service to cut the legs of your favorite chairs to fit your family members, and to select your favorite upholstery from their 200 different kinds of fabrics.
In addition to the semi-order service, they offer you a restoration service, which you can bring your Conde House product to reproduce your furniture as much as possible, as their motto is to use limited resources of timber as long and valuable as possible.
In the showroom, they offer events like exhibitions and sale. Must visit if you are looking for Hokkaido’s refined furniture design.
