A shop ‘Ma’ is a multi-brand store situated at a corner of a multi-tenant building in Imaizumi, Fukuoka. Within a minimal looking store unified in a white color, fashion related products are displayed like paintings福岡市今泉の雑居ビルの一角にあるショップ「Ma」。白で統一されたミニマルな店内に、絵画を飾るように、洋服などのファッションアイテムがディスプレイされている。「Ma」＝「間」を感じさせる日本的な空間設計を手掛けたのは、福岡と東京を拠点に活動するケース・リアルの二俣公一氏。広く開いた窓が、移りゆく都市の風景を切り取っている。
「M a SHOP」は、ファッションディレクターで選曲家でもある、泉 栄一氏が、2005年にオープンしたセレクトショップ。自身のブランドである「MINOTAUR（ミノトール）」、プロダクトラインの「MUG」を中心に、「Useless.（ユースレス）」、「Generic man（ジェネリック・マン）」などのインポートアイテムを取り扱っている。
また、泉氏は、キョウト・ジャズ・マッシブの沖野好洋、イタリアを代表する先鋭的なDJ&サウンドプロデューサー、エンリコ・クリベラーロ、ニューヨークのアートディレクター、タイラー・アスキューなどとコミュニティーサイト「MAROUND」を展開するなど、幅広いジャンルで勢力的に活動中。

http://www.mashop.jp. The Japanese looking interior was designed by Koichi Futatsumata of CASE-REAL, with the theme of ‘Ma’, meaning ‘In-between spaces’. The wide-open windows, are displaying changing urban landscape outside.
‘Ma SHOP’ is a multi-brand shop, opened by a fashion director Eichi Izumi in 2005. The shop deals with various brands that includes his own brand ‘MINOTAUR‘ and ‘MUG‘ and imported products such as ‘Useless’ and ‘Generic man’.
Mr. Izumi also works in a wide variety of fields such as setting up a community site ‘MAROUND‘ along with Yoshihiro Okino of Kyoto Jazz Massive, Enrico Crivellaro, a controversial DJ and sound producer from Italy and Tyler Askew, an art director from New York.
