Renaissa Nagato is a multi-purpose venue comprised of the Yamaguchi Art and Culture Hall, and the Nagato Gymnasium. It aims to be a symbol of Nagato 山口県立劇場「ルネッサながと」は「山口県民芸術文化ホールながと」と「ながと総合体育館」からなる複合施設。文化・スポーツによる地域活性化を目的とし、長門のシンボルを目指している。
芸術文化ホールの劇場は、大きな舞台に加え、「廻り舞台」、「花道」、「すっぽん」といった日本独自の優れた設備を採用。歌舞伎や能、狂言といった日本の伝統芸能をはじめ、演劇、コンサート、お笑いライブなど実に幅広い公演イベントに対応している。開館５周年の際には人間国宝４人による「人間国宝の会」の公演も行われた。
総合体育館ではバスケットボール、テニス、バドミントン、卓球、柔剣道などといった幅広いスポーツを楽しむことができ、また、テニスコートや軽運動室、トレーニングルームも完備している。
併設されているレストランでは、地元の食材を使った1日10食限定のランチメニューやコースメニューも提供している。
周辺には温泉や宿泊施設も充実しているので、少し足を伸ばしてゆっくりと楽しみたい。

The theater for art and culture hall is fully functioned as a big stage equipped with Japanese distinctive facilities. The theater is used for a wide range of Japanese traditional performances including Kabuki, Noh and Kyogen, as well as theatrical performances, concert comedy lives and etc. At the gymnasium you can enjoy various kinds of sports including basketball, tennis, badminton, ping-pong, Judo and Kendo. There is a restaurant which serves limited lunch menu of 10 dishes per day using locally grown food.
