‘A solitary dwelling for adults, tucked away in a forest’ is the theme taken by Tokirikyu, a complex consisting of three buildings set in over 1700 square meters of land and dedicated to「森に包まれた大人の離れ」をテーマとする複合施設「季離宮」は、525坪もの敷地に、３棟の建物で構成され、それぞれが食・住・知・美を追求した空間となっている。本物の味を堪能できるビストロやグリルのある「上離宮」、ヘアブティックや、選びぬかれたインテリアなど、魅了ある店舗が入っている「中離宮」、キッチンスタジオ併設の製菓材料ショップ「下離宮」と、広い敷地内で様々な視点で楽しみながら回遊できる。施設全体に植裁を施し、季節の移ろいを目で楽しませてくれる。
施設は、魅力ある街づくりに貢献している建物などに贈る「福岡市都市景観賞」に一般表彰されている。
