アムステルダムの中心部、ヨルダン地区のショッピングストリート、通称「9つの通り」に2007年にオープンした書店。店内は、黒で統一されていて、扱う書籍を引き立てているMENDO is not your regular bookstore around the corner. The bookstore is specialized in ‘creative books’, on architecture, interior, fashion, photography and graphic design。設計はオランダの建築事務所「コンクリート」が手掛けた。
書籍は、「クリエイティブ」分野に特化していて、建築、インテリア、ファッション、写真やグラフィックなど、デザイン事務所でもある「メンド」のクリエイティブに影響を与える書籍を中心に扱っている。メンドは、クリエイティブエージェンシーとしても活躍中。
