Kobe Maritaime Museum is a museum of “ocean, ship, port” opened in 1987 as a commemoration project for the 120 year anniversary of opening Kobe Port. Imaged as waves and ships, the white frame structure神戸海洋博物館は、神戸開港120年の記念事業として1987年に開館した「海・船・港」の総合博物館。波や船をイメージさせる建物上部の白い美しいフレーム構造は、神戸ポートタワーの赤色との対比が美しく、神戸のランドマークとして知られている。
博物館では、「現代から未来の神戸港・歴史から見た神戸港」をテーマにした展示を行っている。展示室の他、「カワサキワールド」や神戸港を見渡せるフランス料理レストランもある。すぐそばの神戸ポートタワーは、高さ108m。展望室から見わたす360度の大パノラマが魅力。

Besides the exhibition space, there is Kawasaki World and a French restaurant overlooking Kobe Port. You can enjoy panoramic views at 108m high in Kobe Port Tower near the museum.
