「PRINZ（プリンツ）」は、エイフィッシュなどを手がけたデザイナー、西堀晋氏が設計を行った、カフェ、ブックショップ、CDショップ、ガーデンと宿泊施設までもが融合した複合施設。シンプルな白い箱のような外観はDesigned by Shin Nishibori, PRINZ is a complex that gathers a cafe, CD & bookshop, garden and accommodation. At the cafe space, you can enjoy authentic French Italian cuisine１日の内で日の角度によって様々にその表情を変える。
中庭を含む光が差し込むカフェスペースでは、モーニング（8:00〜11:00）からランチ（11:30〜14:30）、ディナー（17:30〜21:00）と時間によって手頃な料金で本格的なフレンチイタリアンを楽しむことができる他、時間にかかわらず１杯のコーヒーなどのドリンクだけでも利用でき、一人から大勢までいつでもどんなシチュエーションでも楽しめるのが魅力。
１階にはギャラリーがあり、企画展を中心に年間通じて展示を行っている他、２階のギャラリーは貸しギャラリーとして広く現代美術作家の紹介を行っている。また、書籍もとても充実しているのでここだけでゆっくりと時間を過ごすことができるだろう。
特筆すべきは、宿泊施設があること。３名まで利用できる部屋（35m2）と６名までが利用できる部屋（42m2）の２タイプが用意されている。部屋は共にシンプルで洗練されたつくりになっており広々としているので、数名で利用するとかなり割安なのでおすすめだ。（平日３名利用で19,425〜22,575円）
場所は、京都の少し北に位置していて、京都造形芸術大学からほど近い。

The gallery on the 1st floor features planned exhibitions throughout the year, and the gallery upstairs is a rental gallery introducing wide range of contemporary artists. Their selection of books is broad so you can spend your relax moment in PRINZ.
The most exciting thing about PRINZ is that there are 2 types of rooms (35m2 up to 3 person/ 42m2 up to 6 person) for accommodation inside the building. Both rooms are designed simple and elegant. The location is near Kyoto University of Art and Design.
