1922年建造のその役目を終えた運河の鉄道橋の一部が、2008年2月、カフェ・レストラン「OPEN」として生まれ変わった。かつてあったその場所に再び新しい息吹を吹き込むべくConstructed in 1922, a part of the railroad bridge for a canal is now renovated into a cafe restaurant OPEN in February 2008. Renovated by an architectural firm CIE.、建築事務所「CIE.」がリノベーションを担当、空調をコントロールする可動式の美しいガラスをはめ込んだ。内装は数々の受賞歴を持つスタジオ・エドワード・ファン・フリートが担当、心地よい空間をつくりだした。
メニューは、カジュアルなフレンチ・イタリアン。ベジタリアンから魚、肉料理まで手軽な料金で楽しめる。フードメニューは11:30から。
また、日曜日の15:00〜17:00はライブ演奏も行われる。

The cafe offers casual style menu of French and Italian cuisines from vegetarian meals to fish and meat dishes with reasonable prices. Food menu starts from 11:30. Live performances during 15:00 – 17:00 on Sundays.
