ソウル市の中心部に位置する仁寺洞。韓国国民と共に、数々の歴史的出来事を目撃してきた場所である。歴史深い仁寺洞では、現代的な環境の中にありながらも、韓国の先人達の足跡を辿ることができる。フレンドリーな雰囲気も、仁寺洞ならではである。
昔と今の韓国が入り交じった感覚を味わうことができるこの仁寺洞。アンティークの家具、陶磁器、その他種々様々なものから昔の生活の様子を垣間見ることができ、訪れる人の目を楽しませてくれるのだ。

In Sa Dong, in some sense, represents the cross road of the old and the new of Korea. The lives of the old is alive in fragments in the antique furnitures, china, sundry things that await the prying eyes that anc appriciate them as such. What remains from the lives before, what maybe is disappearing in the frenzy of modernity is lurking hidden not by its own choice but by the eyes of many beholders.
The galleries, the traditional tea houses, the antique shops, and the caligraphy shops provide the urbanites with a little world of wonders where life can be a little more down-to-earth and the little world that seems disappearing.
